Please give Copeland Borough council your views as part of their ongoing public consultation into the Copeland Local Plan – a key document that will shape the future of the borough.
Issues under consultation in the draft include the number of new-build homes we should be aiming for, the locations and boundaries in which housing and employment developments should take place, and town centre regeneration.
Other issues include the natural environment and heritage assets, as well as opportunities for improved leisure and tourism. It also includes a focus on the community facilities and improvements to connectivity that will enable Copeland to flourish in a post-Covid environment.
The Preferred Options draft can be viewed, and feedback completed, at www.copeland.gov.uk/content/local-plan-consultations
For those without internet access, hard copies, including space for feedback, are also available on request by calling 01946 598300 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. CDs are also available using the same contact details. The consultation runs until November 15.
