Copeland Borough council: Order of removal of public footpath and replacement with a new footpath

TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 COPELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL COPELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO 406001 AND 406006 PARISH OF EGREMONT) PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP AND DIVERSION ORDER 2020
The above named Order made on 28 January 2020 under Section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 will
divert the whole width of that section of public footpath no 406001 at Whangs Beck in the parish of Egremont from GR 300042 510851 53 metres northwards and northwestwards to GR 300033 510903; to run from GR 300027 510892 14 metres north-northwestwards to GR 300033 510903. The width of the new path will be 2 metres; and
stop up the whole width of that section of public footpath no 406006 at Whangs Beck in the parish of Egremont from GR 300042 510851 eastwards for about 226 metres to GR 300260 510798.

A copy of the Order and map may be inspected free of charge at Egremont Library, West Lakes Academy, Main Street, Egremont CA22 2DQ and the offices of the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ (ref 5.1.457). Any supporting statements or objections with respect to the Order can be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team, (by post or email as addresses above) to be received not later than 11 March 2020 and should state the grounds on which they are made.
If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Copeland Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
