Egremont in bloom –

the community works together

to make the streets

shine bright in the summer sun

Egremont once again is blooming. The main street has had  such a massive make over and is looking bright, colourful and lovely once more.

This is thanks to the hard work of the town council employees – Geraldine Pritchard and Nelson Shepperd. They have worked tirelessly to make Egremont so lovely.

The planters have never looked so lovely and the flower hanging baskets are glorious. Bookwell junior school pupils have also been making their difference to a special part of the castle.

Calderwood house joined in and have placed flower pots outside their home to. Many of the towns residents and businesses also joined in along also.

Egremont’s bowling green has never looked so good- it an oasis of colour. They have worked for a year to make it look so fantastic.

Even the fire fighters have joined in. For the first time ever they have a fantastic floral arrangement at the entrance to the fire station.

Please make your way around the town and enjoy the views
