The Florence Arts Centre in Egremont has announced upcoming events over the next few weeks.
These include workshops, performances, gigs, open mic, quiz nights and exhibitions.
A clothes swap will kick-start this year’s programme on February 6, from 6pm to 8pm. With another clothes swap also planned for May 14. People can bring as much as they like with them to swop.
The weekly pottery class and film club will meet every Friday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. A family film club will be launched on February 8 and will continue every Saturday from 2pm. The club is free to attend.
Folk singing duo Lucy Farrell and Andrew Waite will be performing on February 15. The pair have recently released their debut album. Doors open at 6.30pm, tickets are £12, available from Florence.
Open mic night begins on February 19th and welcomes people to develop their inner creative performer every third Wednesday of the month, between 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
The main gallery space will feature an exhibition from Wallace Heim and Petra Kalshoven, from February 21 to March 28. Their exhibition centres around three large sculptures which will depict a representation on Sellafield in the year 2140.
