Former deputy mayor & Egremont town council chairperson Lena Hogg retires from council duties

Egremont town council is  saddened by the news that former deputy Mayor & former Egremont town council chairperson Lena Hogg  has resigned as a town councillor

 Cllr Hogg had been a Borough councillor and Deputy mayor of the Borough council as a chairperson of Egremont town council and mayor and had served the community as a councillor for over 10yrs.


All the current and former town councillors who have served time as town and also borough councillors have been lucky to work along side Lena and have the highest respect for her. She was always looking to help everyone and help to improve the town and our community.


Lena brought hard work and dedication to her role as a councillor and always did her best within the community. She will be much missed on the council Egremont town council would like to extend our gratitude for her help and guidance, diligence and patience and to wish her good luck and best wishes.
