Local cycle ways

Egremont parish cycle ways

Egremont, Bigrigg and Moor row are linked to the coast and to the beautiful lake district

(now a UNESCO world heritage site).

Each of the cycle ways are interlinked and offer access to the C2C (coast to coast routes) and link you to the local sea side towns and villages of Seascale, Calderton & St.Bees as well as going to the gorgeous heritage sites of Clints quarry & Longlands lake.

If you are looking to go to Copelands other large towns of Cleator moor, Millom and of course the Georgian harbour town of Whitehaven then you can follow the cycle ways which take you through fantastic scenic routes.

The cycle ways encompass many of the areas original disused train lines. These train lines used to transport iron ore and other minerals mined in the area as well as passengers.

So why not get on your cycling clothes, dust your bike down & set off on an amazing journey.
